Claims are now online with Petplan
Petplan has launched a new online Claims Tracking service. The initiative is a new way for policyholders to find out how their claim is progressing by enabling them to view their claim status on the Petplan website.
Online Claims Tracking will show clients when their claim form has been received, if it has been assessed and when it is expected to be settled. Petplan customers just have to enter their policy number and postcode on http://www.petplan.co.uk/claimsTracking/claimsTracking.asp.
Ian Moffat, Claims Manager says, “Customer feedback revealed that our customers wanted more information about how their claim was progressing. We realised that we could offer a quick and simple solution by offering claims information online which would make claiming more transparent for policyholders. It also means customers need to make fewer calls to find out basic information about their claim.”
Petplan will be sending out information about the online Claims Tracking service to policyholders in claims packs. In addition Petplan Business Developers will also be able to discuss the facility when they visit vet surgeries.
