Petplan’s Pet Food Prize Draw Terms and Conditions:

  1. The promoter of this prize draw is Pet Plan Limited (with company number: 01282939) and whose registered office is at 57 Ladymead, Guildford, Surrey GU1 1DB (the “Promoter”).
  2. An eligible entrant is someone who obtains a quote from Petplan for pet insurance directly from petplan.co.uk or from the Promotor’s call centre (this is excludes Petplan Equine and quotes received via Pets at Home) for a pet owned by the person named on the quote during the Promotional Period (as set out below), aged 18 years old or over, and is a UK resident. Proof of identity and age may be required. Use of a false name or address will result in disqualification (“Eligible Entrants”). All Eligible Entrants will be automatically entered into this prize terms unless you opt of entrance by contacting us via email to social@petplan.co.uk
  3. This prize draw will be available for quotes received from 00.01 on the 27th December 2024 to 11:59pm on 28th February 2025 (“Promotional Period”). 
  4. One winner will win £600 that the winner can spend on the pet food brand of their choice. The winner will be chosen at random by the Promoter from all valid entries during the Promotional Period.
  5. The winner will be contacted by 31st March 2025 via the email address used to obtain the pet insurance quote in order to fulfil the prize.
  6. All Petplan insurance policies are subject to and issued in accordance with the Promoter’s underwriting eligibility criteria.
  7. All employees of the Promoter, and their respective subsidiaries and associated companies, their immediate families and anyone involved in the promotion of the prize draw, including any printers and agents, suppliers of the prize and any other companies associated with the prize draw, are excluded from entry.
  8. Only one entry may be made per person. The Promoter will not enter any person twice into this prize draw notwithstanding the number of pet insurance quotes obtained.
  9. Prizes shall be awarded at the Promoter’s discretion and if it considers any entrant has acted inappropriately or dishonestly in relation to the prize draw, it reserves the right to refuse to award any prize. If they cannot be contacted within 5 days, the Promoter reserves the right to offer that prize to the next Eligible Entrant drawn at random.
  10. The Promoter reserves the right to publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place for the prize draw.
  11. Once the winner has been notified, and after 31st March 2025, the winner’s names will be available on request and subject to the winner’s consent by emailing social@petplan.co.uk. The winner will be required to provide UK bank details in order to receive the prize. The prize will be paid within 30 days of correct UK bank details being provided.
  12. Winners will participate in all required publicity and the Promoter reserves the right to publish the names in post event publications and on the Promoter’s website and/or social media sites. If you do not consent to your name and details being published please contact us at social@petplan.co.uk
  13. All prizes are non-transferable. The winner will be liable for all costs and expenses not stated relating to claiming the prize. Prizes may be taxable and the winner will be responsible for any tax arising.
  14. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The Promoter further reserves the right to amend or alter the terms of the prize draw where necessary to do so.
  15. All entries and any copyright subsisting in the entries become and remain the property of the Promoter. Contact information about entrants is collected by the Promoter in order to contact them about the promotion and to award prizes.
  16. Entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by these terms and conditions.

You must then request the free product using the coupon which will be provided in your welcome email from Petplan.   5. Your free identialert service will be made available in your welcome email from Petplan and therefore is available to start shortly after inception of your Petplan policy for up to 12 months, provided your policy is still active. Free Area Festivals Saddle Pad

  1. This offer only applies to customers who purchase a new annual Petplan policy for a dog, cat, rabbit or horse that has not already been insured with Petplan.
  2. This offer is not available if you are purchasing a Rider Plan policy.
  3. Only one Petplan Area Festivals branded, white LeMieux dressage saddle pad, size large ("the "Saddle Pad") per customer.

  1. Nominations must be made via the online nomination form or on a paper based form.
  2. Closing date for all nominations is midnight on 7th February 2025.
  3. Nominations can be submitted by all UK residents aged 18 or over. There is no limit on the number of nominations that can be made per person.
  4. Petplan accepts no responsibility for lost, mislaid, delayed or damaged nominations.
  5. Judging will take place for all nominations for each of the three categories under independent supervision.
  6. All judges will be independent of Petplan and the full names of the judges shall be made available on request in writing. The judges will base their decision on the contents of the nomination statement or statements (and not on the number of nominations received) from nomination forms.
  7. The winners of the Petplan & ADCH Animal Charity Awards categories will be announced at the Petplan & ADCH Animal Charity Awards Ceremony in 2025.

  4. Petplan accepts no responsibility for lost, mislaid, delayed or damaged nominations.
  5. Judging will take place for all nominations for each of the five categories under independent supervision.
  6. All judges will be independent of Petplan and the full names of the judges shall be made available on request in writing. The judges will base their decision on the contents of the nomination statement or statements (and not on the number of nominations received) from nomination forms.

The Petplan Pet Awards 2023

  1. The Petplan Pet Awards are open to all pet owners to celebrate and recognise exceptional pets that help enrich our lives.
  2. Nominations for the Petplan Pet Awards must be made via the online nomination form hosted on the Petplan website.
  3. The closing date for all nominations is midnight on 31st July 2023
  4. Nominations are open to all UK residents aged 18 or over. There is no limit on the number of nominations that can be made per person.
  5. Judging will take place from all the nominations received for each of the five categories; the judges will base their decision on the contents of the nomination statement or statements, image (and not on the number of nominations received) from nomination forms.
  6. Finalists and winners will participate in all required publicity for three months following the closure of the nomination period and Petplan reserves the right to publish the names and photos of finalists and winners in post-event publications and on the Petplan website and/or social media sites. Winners will reasonably cooperate with publicity as a result of winning.
  7. All data is stored until 30th October 2023 in accordance with Petplan’s Fair Processing Notice.
  8. Entrants understand that their entry, including owner and pet name and breed, can be published for the purpose of marketing the Petplan Pet Awards. You may be contacted by a Petplan insurance representative on the contact details provided, to discuss the entry made in relation to the Petplan Pet Awards.
  9. You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing social@petplan.co.uk. Please note this will withdraw your nomination.
  10. All employees of the Allianz UK group, and their respective subsidiaries and associated companies and anyone involved in the promotion of the prize draw or competition, including any printers and agents, suppliers of the prize and any other companies associated with the prize draw or competition, are excluded from entry.

Online discount terms & conditions

  1. This discount applies to policies that are purchased online only. Retrospective discounts will not be available after quotation.
  2. This offer only applies to new pets insured with Petplan and will be automatically applied to your quote.
  3. Petplan reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice by amending these online. Once we issue a quote with a validity period, it cannot be altered or changed. The online discount is only applicable for first policy year.
  4. Unless specified otherwise, this online discount is not valid in conjunction with any other offer.

Petplan’s General Prize Draw and Competition Terms and Conditions

  1. By entering into the prize draw or competition, all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the following rules.
  2. Entry is free and is open to entrants aged 18 years old or over and proof of identity and age may be required. Use of a false name or address will result in disqualification.
  3. All entries must be made by UK residents.
  4. Contact information about entrants is collected by Petplan in order to contact them about the promotion and where appropriate award prizes.
  5.   6. Unless otherwise stated, only one entry may be made per person. Petplan will disallow duplicate entries where it finds them. Entries made online using methods generated by a script, macro or the use of automated devices will be void.
  7. At least one of the judges involved in the review and selection of entries for any competition will be independent of Petplan and the full names of the judges shall be made available on request.
  8. Prizes shall be awarded at Petplan's discretion and if it considers any entrant has acted inappropriately or dishonestly in entering into the prize draw or competition, it reserves the right to refuse to award any prize. No purchase is necessary to claim a prize. Winners will be confirmed either by phone, in writing or by email. If they cannot be contacted within a reasonable period of time, Petplan reserves the right to offer the prize to the next eligible entrant.
  9. No responsibility is accepted for lost, delayed or mis-transmitted entries.
  10. Winners' names will be made available upon request after the closing date by sending a SAE to: Petplan Marketing, PO Box 223, Huddersfield, HD8 1FR. Petplan also reserves the right to announce winners on the Petplan website and/or social media sites.
  11. Prizes are as stated and are subject to availability and any supplier’s terms and conditions. In the event of any prize being unavailable for any reason outside Petplan's control it reserves the right to offer an alternative prize of equal value. Petplan is not responsible for the quality of the goods supplied.
